A set of pattern brushes for Illustrator CS2 in three sizes: string, rope and hawser. Note me or leave a comment if you’re not sure how to use them.

Note that these brushes don’t have corner or end pieces.

If you happen to do any neat designs with them, maybe drop me a note. I’d love to see what you can make with them.

I have to ask you this question because I'm slowly becoming a type nerd (I was looking at a can of foot fungus spray last night and said, "Oh, look. Helvetica."):

It’s something called Windlass. I got it from a collection of antique faces online somewhere. Pretty sure it’s a Windows TrueType. It’s pretty good for this sort of thing, but it doesn’t hold up when set really large.
