Early last year a small group consisting of myself, my creative director and our web guy got together and brainstormed ideas for a new company website. This is what we came up with.
The basic concept is that we (like most agencies) go through a lot of crappy, bad ideas in order to get to the good ones. What you see is a disgruntled bad idea as an ersatz spokesperson (spokesthing?) for our company. Basically, it would make snarky, sour-grapes comments about the much better ideas that actually were produced as you looked through the portfolio. The background is a shot of our office floor, and the elements in the portfolio row are actual creative samples. |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
